Title: Alltec Top service
Post by: Doug Holloway on June 27, 2011, 04:03:20 pm
Hi Guys

Had a fuel supply problem with my TM, did suite with porty, drove up to Alltec and Chris Thomas sorted it out.

Excellent service and so important being able to drive there and back reasonably quickly.

Cheers

Doug

How much does an Alltec service cost Shaun?

Depends on which one you have, they have an A and B, and then I have other bits done, don't think I've paid more than £150 inc for service and bits, Pete usually does mine and I can recommend him, Mark Powell Services in Oxford do a great job also but they don't do LPG.

Here's a top tip then, why don't you time the service at the same time as doing one of your IICRC day courses ;D

IICRC courses are 2 days and they cost £150 a go and then there's the hotel not even mentioning the loss of income.

Yeah can vouch for Mark Powell Services in Oxford nice lads and endless cups of tea while waiting, Roger the mechanic likes a chat while working and has good HM knowledge.

All the mechanics love the little 318s easy to work on and not over engineered.

Thought they were a small operation but have 9 vans on the road.

Jim,

I know that the guys from Cleaning systems UK in Cupar have done some work transplanting truckmounts from one van to another. Their technicians are brilliant, so it may be worth a call to see if they can service your truckmount. 01134 656787.
