been going through old post on the superlite extreme

was gonna say is the white brush a good all-round one and is it ok to rinse on the glass with,
are the bristle's pretty soft; say like the supa-lite dt brush gardiners do.
was also looking at supa-lite extreme black bristles, but does'nt say about being able to rinse on the glass, wondered if bristles too soft. ???

They are both pretty soft and splay easily probably 'cos they have less bristles. The black is very soft and behaves like a flocked brush whereas the white is more like your normal mono feel. I like the black others prefer the white. ;D
They both take a bit of getting used to but they are very fast and accurate.

I have the white and also the dt, the bristles feel the same but there are a lot less on the extreme which makes it splay a lot more. It is a much better brush than the dt even though it has half as many bristles. Yes you can rinse brush on easy. I've found it brilliant for cladding cleans as well.

Both good brushes but the white one is the best all rounder ;)

Thanks very much guys for your replies, i think i will go for the white one as it's possible to rinse on, as gardiners don't say this for blk bristle one.

I haven't tried yet but my black Xtreme is mono-filament so I don't see why it shouldn't rinse on the glass like other mono filaments.
Anyone tried it yet?

and i really like it
however i find it very hard to get used to as i am used to a big fat vikan and 27 foot brodex pole!
So it is taking some getting used too but i will get there, but it feels like ive started cleaning windows with a toothbrush

Yesterday I was using the Xtreme at about 40 feet length at a poor angle. Therefore I had to rinse on the glass. It came up reasonably OK for a first clean. It's the white bristled one that I'm using. The bristles seem a little stiff but it splays OK. tHE RESULTS WERE FAIRISH - THOUGH i EXPECT BETTER ON The second clean.

however i find it very hard to get used to as i am used to a big fat vikan and 27 foot brodex pole!
So it is taking some getting used too but i will get there, but it feels like ive started cleaning windows with a toothbrush
I find the angle of the socket on the vikan to be wrong. Even with a gooseneck on it the pole or gooseneck tends to hit the sill.
The gardiners brushes I have are fitted with 90 degree sockets and the pole or gooseneck miss the sill altogether. Love the white one.

I've found that the yellow pole hose seems to split more easily than what I'm used to with some clearer stuff (it's probably thicker). I thought it might have been spiked by some bushes at first but am now wondering it it's getting pinched inside the pole when I collapse it. I've now patched the hose with JG fittings as they can fit through either end of the pole but can get caught up. The hose will end up like my teeth at this rate (more fillings than tooth ;D ). I also noticed that some smaller hose provided afterwards (the very small pieces for the end) seem a little more supple and I couldn't get it into a JG fitting. On closer inspection, it looks like the hole through the hose is a bit larger which may be to fit better on the plastic T (or Y) piece.
Once I've exhausted my current yellow hoses (I also have another 30 meter roll), I may well revert back to the harder clear stuff that I normally use.
Great pole. Great brushes. Jury is out on the pole hose though.
I've been using it on a job that I doubt any other pole could manage. It is hard graft though and has some awful angles. Maybe I should have suggested a cherry picker :)
