I have had a load of flyers printed.
This time I decided to change the layout and have included a box where I will write the "aproximate" price. (it is worded that way)
The thing that bothers me is getting the price right without being able to look round the house?
Many jobs look ordinary from the front but when you get round the back you find a huge conny.
Do you guys who post prices just hope for the best and then adjust the price if they call?

I never givea quote without seeing the property and condition of windows NEVER

if the price is out
speak to the customer
mistake happen, this dose'nt mean to have to work for less

Up to now nor have I, but I figured I would try something new to see how it works.
I aim to knock doors and price where I can, but leave a flyer with a price at those that are not in. So I will see every house but some will catch me out as I wont be able to walk around the back.
I figured by putting "aproximate" on the flyer it gives me the opotunity to adjust the price if I find they have a granny annex, two connys and a swimming pool in the back garden hidden from view. :)

Thats what I thought I would do. at least it gives me the chance to speak to them.
I just wondered what others do and if people have found prices on flyers give a better hit rate.

Summit I read on here but never tried it.
print summit like this on flyer
"LEAVE THIS FLYER IN YOUR WINDOW IF YOU WOULD LIKE A QUOTE - BACK IN AREA 12th of Never -"

and if people have found prices on flyers give a better hit rate.
NO
People either want a carpet cleaner or they don't.
If they want a carpet cleaner you want to speak them about your service not STUCK with a price you have advertised.
