Title: hybrid vans

Anybody got one, think they would be ideal for us with alot of the time being spent under 30 mph stopping and starting.

i guess the first time a builder puts a ton of bricks in the back the motor would burn out . or a windie a ton of water !

on 2nd thoughts,, i just remembered  that some big earth movers are powered by electric motors so  there must be some other reason why theres no hybrid vans

there is an all electric Kangoo coming out this year. i think its £17,000

they already use hybrid buses in london so payload shouldn't be a problem
stanstead airport have only hydrogen powered vehicles (buses,vans etc.)on trial for 1 year so i think we should be seeing hybrid vans in a year or so .it's about time i think
