I went through this lot:  http://www.tradesmancover.co.uk/

And got 1 million liability cover with damage to glass cover for about £70 underwritten by AXA.
Excess is steep though.

AXA tradesman - £107 = 1 mill public lia / £2500 tool cover theft day or night (excess is  £100min -£500max) / Damage to glass on windows only is upto £250k, but the excess on this is high @ £500.

You're complaining about £170 odd for PL?? I pay €600 minimum in Ireland.  :'( :'( :'(

I've been impressed by Gleaming,.. they cover property worked on & many of the popular add-on services.

Gleaming for me, and they DO offer damage to property, its cleaning insurance for cleaners.  Specialised in this market like. They know what theyre doing, not just a general insurance company.

cheers guys i got my new quote from simply with a million quids to start in july 8th to be paid before then

,apparently he says for my £64 i would be covered for damage to property this included damage to glass, i asked him several times are you sure this includes damage to glass he said yes ,

looking at everyone else's prices with damage to glass maybe he is mistaken?

Mine was cheap through simply business but i can never remember what i pay.
I just pay it in full every year and wait until they remind me it needs renewing :)

thats cheap - I pay about 2 grand a year to cover myself, EL, property damage etc all up to 10 million I think.

Need it for the work we do though.

I priced around everywhere and that was he cheapest I could get.

yes that level of cover is what u must need im still focusing on domestic.therefore crazy sweet insurances like yours is overkill :)
