Hi Glenn

Im doing carpets with it, its had a new watse tank made with free flow, new blower, new boiler coil, new inverter, all internal hoses replaced, new paint job and many many other bits, pieces and mods. (boiler runs of diesel the same as the machine "red of course")

She runs like a dream. In the process of building a new frame for it to go in another new waste tank and am going to install a lay flat water tank and a few more improvemts.

The woodbridge Hercules is a very robust machine , the heat generated by the burner is instant and higher temps than most t/m/s   , I have one ,the only problem been the fenners coupling ,which was soon sorted, mind you I did bay a few grand less than £6,000   ;D  having said that around 3k   is I think reasonable .

my only problem with mine was that it had one of them sectional leather pump drive belts that kept stretching ! we converted it to a v belt and never dropped pump pressure again, incredibly robust kit. i bought mine from an ex hydro franchisee, he finished work on the friday afternoon and i bought it at tea time and was working on the saturday morning with it !the van was full of all sorts of trick bits that i kept finding until the day i sold it to nick, doubtless you still kept finding bits nick ?, then incredibly the immobiliser screwed up on the ducato and there endeth the relationship. a sad day

When I first bought it , from a guy in london, he had had problems from new, always in and out for repair and always the fenner coupling , this been the main reason he was selling it on the cheap, he was basicly fed up with all the hassle,
Once back home and a few words with the guy who was fitting it the machine and a cpl of rails welded on for ease of in and out of van for maintanance, he noticed that the coupling were not aligned correctly , so a larger coupling and fitting in the right manner and problem solved, I have how ever had to replace the rubber insert twice in the last 4 yrs, it takes him around an hr and he sevices it whilst out ,
price   £ 50   labour
