Title: Texatherm Cleaning System

Hi,

 I attended the Prochem Carpet Cleaning Course today, in Dudley and was told that the Texatherm Cleaning System is a good choice of system to purchase - any thoughts on this or is there a better system I could buy?

I bought one last year and i think it is great for large comercial areas that use carpet tiles,they are currently upgrading the machine aswell,give TCS a ring,you will find them helpfull and will demo the machine for you.

No you would not really use it on domestic,you can do but it is not as good as hwe.

Hi again Paul,  I probably sound very thick, but what is hwe?

What would you recommend?

After going on the Prochem course today alot of the info has gone right over my head! Think I am more confused.  I do domestic cleaning with regular clients at the moment, but a few have asked about carpet cleaning so I thought this is my next step??

Hot water extraction (hwe)
There are loads of machines available from entry level portable machines to £20 000 truckmounts,so it depends on your budget and how far you want to take it.
Ian Harper of this forum started as you are and expanded into carpet cleaning so you could talk to him .
I would consider second hand to start with as you can save loads and if you upgrade if it takes off you won,t have wasted too much money.

Thanks for all the info Paul.  I did wonder about buying second hand, but worry that at least a new one will be guaranteed - but still not sure which to choose (not too heavy).

I bought a Texatherm System and find it very good on low profile carpet.
But I have never had any follow up from the company since.

A cheaper option are Solutions Charly pads which are also excellent on low profile carpet.If you already have a rotary then this option is alot cheaper than tex or even buy a second hand rotary.I have Dry Fusion and in my opinion its better than tex

Ive used both dry fusion and texatherm systems and in my opinion the dry fusion is far better.
