Do you know what you need to power it?
-
thats an interesting point, i used to run dry steamers off a 5.5 kva, does this require a 6.5 ?

You'll need a 3 phase generator
-
anyone got a link to this machine ive been trying to find some technical data about it but carnt find who sells them
-
I have two of these.
One is a twin operator - 3 phase and runs off a 12Kva generator the second one is a single operator and runs off a 6.5 Kva generator and if there is electric nearby, it runs off the socket with a rcd breaker connected. ( Cheers David Maunders (and good to speak to you the other day))
The one in the link looks like the 240 volt supply (just checked the link - the Mirage 1 is the single operator, Mirage 2 twin operator, Mirage 3 triple operator.
I can say that they are brilliant bits of kit and are useful to use in high footfall areas. There is some down time waiting for them to build a tank of steam back up. You tend to get about 20 minutes of steam off the Mirage 1 and then five minutes every time waiting for the steam to build again.
Unless you are doing a lot of commercial and or shop fronts think twice about investing!!!!

Rob is right,it runs off a 240 volt supply, they recommend a 5.5kva generator,or just plug into the mains and away to go,it comes with a dozen spare brushes and 25 litres of chemical, based in Swansea, will take 750 or nearest offer, cheers Neil

Looks like Swansea, Matt.
My apologies, I assumed they were all 3 phase.
-
duhh i just re-read his post...
bit too much for me, dont really have too much gum to remove....yet...
-
only trouble with using someones 230 mains for dry steamers is that they have a tendency to overload some rcds.
-
Hi Neil,
Can you use it for other steam cleaning work or just chewing gum?
Cheers
Alan
