Hi All,
The van passed it's mot yesterday without any advisories! Thought I might celebrate by spending what I normally spend on MOT work by investing in a hot water system. Got winter in mind and I thought it would help on first cleans and conny roofs.
Which system do you advise I look at? I have a big van so lot's of room.
Cheers guys.

all depends on how much you have to spend to what you go for

pure freedom 9kw hot. cost you 3500 fully fitted . on a lease its 116 quid a month. well worth it though ;D

I would find it difficult to justify paying that amount of money to keep me going for a couple of weeks in winter !

I use a peter fogwill one I bought off eBay 100 quid I think it
Was, easy to fit, highly recommended. Don't be a mug and spend thousands.
I've only used mine a couple of times since winter, glad I'm ready for it this year though. Make sure you rig it after resin barrels, as I've warped the insides of mine.!
Little tip which will help lessen frozen pipes, convert them to 15mm. As well as being easy to get hold of replacements parts.
ive got a fog wash too and a mate has the l5 they do exactly the same as another windy we know who spend 2.5k on his hot system :o

Thanks Guys, I will have a look at Peter's system. I am sure the Pure Freedom system is good but I can't justify that amount of cash {the van is only worth £1k :) }

i used to think like that mate van only worth 700 quid , but since having spent £1000 repairing it over the year i come to realise its priceless .
is hot water really that good isnt pure water pure water is it really worth spending extra ?if so then i would do it.

Yep - build yer own - who was the guy on here who used a quad bike and had a hot system he built called the "kettle" on a trailer?
Lived in Frome, Somerset and is a jw I think.
