Can anyone recommend a course, preferably in Cornwall?

plenty of cow pats in cornwall, what we testing for, rigidity and texture, or discuss capabilities? ;D
think the kits about £500 col. courses are about £70. i think anyhoo.

Try the local colleges, they are normally the best vaule for money, or go further and you could do a basic course in a day.
PAT is only really about safety testing of electrical items.
I did a basic course but then wanted to know more so i did day release at college for a city and guilds qualification which was in depth but good.

If its just to test your own gear then you can do an online one. Register, they'll send you a dvd to watch. You then log on and answer a multiple choice test. Costs about £60.

Thanks for the replies... I need to do a comprehensive course so I can test other people's electrical equipment as well as my own...

They're all skint round here apart from the Navy lot, and those buggers plead poverty... ;D
