Sold a pole on e-bay today so i have got to do some phoning around tomorrow to get it delivered has anybody used good company  please save me loads of time

Dont know about delivery but grab a cardboard tube from a local carpet shop and slide it in there for safe transport.

I sold a 45ft pole the other day and closed length was about 7ft. Took it to the post office £20ish

i would use a courier company, i have used city link in the past, a lot cheaper than post office
