Im also just setting this up and would like to know more about how you guys do it. Its quite simple i know etc, jst wondering what you do personally.
Ive just put a down spout off roof into a barrel with some tights (not mine) to catch any rubbish in it.
I have a DI in van so could just pump it straight in.

Hi ya Pete, write to your waterboard and ask for a list of the chemicals in your tap water(they have a duty to give it to you only if you ask) - there will be approx 150 items some of which aint good. Rain water contains non of these petroleum products.

Hi there,
A customer of my does rain water systems, it looks really good with the slimline tanks. I did have a chat with him about the system he does and he reckons that the pump it comes with will easily water the garden so should be able to transfer water to a tank in the van via a di vessel.
