Title: Back up
Post by: JandS on June 12, 2011, 05:40:07 pm
Been to the S in Law's holiday home on the
coast for the w/e.
Took the diary with me and guess where it is
now.
Correct........ 150 mile round trip away on a
kitchen table.
Used to copy the weeks work into a notebook,
just the basics address, date and time but got
lazy and don't always do it and now I pay the
price.
Nothing on till 12.30 tomorrow so it's off to the
seaside in the morning.

No the neighbour who has a key is on
her hols.
Need it tomorrow afternoon anyway as
don't remember where I'm working in
afternoon.
It's not a bad run to Hornsea, 50 miles
of it is motorway and it's just a 3 hour
round trip.

This might sound radicle but isn't there a friendly carpet/window cleaner in Hull, Beverley, Bridlington who could nip around there in the morning. Read out the required details for the next few day, then stick the diary in the post.
It would save you time and fuel and cost.

Cheers for that Mike.
Fortunately Mummy and Daddy have said they
fancied a day out so they've gone there for the
day and will be ringing me anytime soon.
These retired folk have too much time on their
hands!!!
Thanks for all the replies though.
