Title: changing to water fed pole
Post by: ashbash on June 12, 2011, 01:04:23 pm
hi all
im concidering changing to water fed pole and was looking for advice on the best way to do this.
Also im concerned as wfp seems to attract a bad name with domestice customers which is where my main base is.  last thing is would it be difficult to keep using trad for the customers that wont accept wfp like maybe bungalows but get a system for the bigger domestic custies.
any advice would be great
cheers guys.
p.s is wfp faster and less tiring like many say.

Stick with the ladders, they look more professional, quicker does a better job, and less tiring.

Wfp is for cowboys!

My advice would be to change to wfp.
It will be difficult at first , but well worth it in the end.
Some domestics wont like it, personally i only lost 1,
But you gain much more, easier to clean con roofs gutters/fascias etc
You will earn more and be less tired
I now do all bungalows as well, as its quicker and does a better job, imo

Sound advice!

There are explanation letters on here that you can print out,.. but only hand them out if someone asks or if there is a problem.

Spend a day or 2 working with an experienced wfp'er though, it will make the transition easier for you & help you avoid the streaks & runs that plague many who switch over.

Once you've switched, stick to your guns, no going back for awkward custies. You get ladders out for one & they'll all want it. Tell em its you're neck on the line every time you climb, & you're not willing to risk it for a few quid anymore now that there is an alternative.
