your thoughts please is she just a pain, or should i clean a window in side to prove to her, i woudl dump here but she is on a street where i do a lot

go inside and look, she may be telling the truth, and while in there if she is wrong clean an inside window ;) although I think you are just taking the wee ;D

If you can't see anything wrong from the outside, ask to have a look from the inside as Stu Mac says.

well go and look, I have been proved wrong on a couple of occasions, and adapted how I clean to make it right, most of the time the customer is wrong but sometimes they are right ;)

it cant be dirt because all the water used will flush it down she might be talking about maybe a bead from the warn rubber or a wooden frame bead?

You need to have a look from the other side. . . . what harm can it do to placate her ? You need the fussy ones to keep you on your toes because most do not complain. In the long run it could save your business.

If they are double glazed it may be inside the 2 pains.

Maybe the seals are going on some of her windows.

We're noticing this more and more.
The quality control procedures during the manufacture of some units seem to be non existant. We have one customer who has a hand print on the inside of one pane :o
Pop inside and look at it from the customer's point of view. The cause may be obvious once you've seen inside.

Worth showing her you want them right.
