yeah that will get you started , just add a bit more on for battery to power the pump and maybe a static tank .

A static tank for the shed?
how many hours do you reckon something like that would enable me to work for? and would i be able to bolt it into the van ........
cheers

would a 17 foot pole reach a 3rd storey window?

Not unless it's a wendy house. 25 ft will usually do it but even then, if the ceiling heights are more than standard or the ground falls away you might even struggle with 25ft.

Yeh a tank in the shed like a 1000 litre ibc or something so you can leave that RO running. That 300gpd unit will probably produce 400 litres a day depending on your water pressure.
But that setup is very nice mate, you dont need anything else, bar a longer pole (if youve got higher work)and a static tank. Its not a bad price either, pretty impressive.
And that tank all depends on how much you do, the first month youd use alot of water and probably have the varistream set on 4 maybe 5, then next few months youd get away with setting 2 - 3. Numbers reffering to the speed of the pump. When your all set youll probably use no more than 300 a day on your own, you could just take a couple of barrels with you to top it up.
Also if you wanted to bolt it down, do you know of any handy welders? Get someone to make bar to go over it and bolt it underneath.

Whereabouts are you in the country, if your TDS is low to start with you may not need RO, and could just run a resin filter in your vehicle.
