Bad luck there Gaza  - at least you didn't get hurt - that's a question a lot of us must ask - how do you get set up when the vans been bumped or caught fire like yours - hope you get something for the meantime

Sorry to hear your troubles Gaz,If I lived closer I,d bring both vans and come and give you a hand.

It's strange how people seem to have a run of bad luck but normally it turns and things pick up.... you seem to be stuck in the bad luck bit..
Lets hope that when you replace vehicle it's becomes the turning point..

If you need anything post a thread if I've got it to spare its your's (no Charge)(I'd even give you some customers if you were closer)

Gaza,

What's your plan till the insurance coughs up?

Can you down-size to your car?

Keep that sense of humour mate, it's what sorts the men from the boys.

Tosh.

It's GREAT to see people offering to help out. It's nice to know there are people out there like that.
If i lived closer i'd gladly give you a hand as i have plenty of time to give as i am still building my round.
You could have probably given me a few good tips aswell.
Good luck mate and hope things come back together.

Gaza

Sorry to read about your problems. Sometimes things just seem to go the wrong for their own reasons.

I hope you get it all sorted quickly. You must be feeling very down about it.

Sometimes though these things years later can suddenly be seen retrospectively as a good thing that helped you in some way unseen at the time it happened. (if that makes sense).

At least you are ok and that is the main thing. Property can always be replaced.

Also Gaz, when you go on and on and on about just how good wfp is, you can now add putting out fires. Seriously though mate, if needs be, in the same way you built it all up before, you can do it again.

It's good to read that others are going to help. That says a lot about those on this forum.

Cheers

Unbelievable the things that have happened to you Gaza.  You can't make this up!
They should tell this story on Newsnight instead of the amatuer presentation the sent out.  People would not only find this more interesting, but would have more respect for window cleaners.
I'm not offering you anything Gaza because I haven't got anything.
However, with all the extra gear everyone is offering you, I could do you a favour...I'll come up with a trailer, sell it all at a car boot we'll split the profits and get a new Powerpole each! ;D
hope you get things sorted.  It can only get better

Gazza have you got a towbar on that Merc cause I'v got a spare trailer you could borrow untill you get sorted. It's an aluminium box trailer about 5 ft x 3ft 6"You could easily carry a trolley system and 10 containers in it. It's really well made.
I'm up in North wales but could meet you somewhere. Dai

Hi Gaza

Have a look around for local auctions. Sometimes vans can go for rediculously low prices.

Remember though - I don't want to have to give you that final ride so be carefull.

Cheers

Sorry to hear your bad news gaza - about those roof bars - try Halfords - their own brand stuff is a lot cheaper than Thule, Paddy Hopkirk and that lot.
