Well done mate.
How many customers have you gained in that first year?
-
Ive got 120 customers paying between £6 and £20 really pleased with myself. looking to expand into office cleaning now.
-
just keep building on that 120 customers. don't worry about diversifing yet and stick to cleaning windows. Keep it simple and do it well :)
-
Good on you mate I am 6 months in and have 70.

Fancy a full time canvassing job for me. ;D ;D
-
Lads-im not trying to give it the big un, but I put by money to buy my van, system and 5 months wages and running costs.
I was in the building sales industry and made a clean break. I have experience "on the doors", and its worked really well.
At first 3 hrs a day canvassing/4 on saturdays. I'm now squeezing some in-need around another 500 quid a months to be there. I had 5 month plan and should hit my target 2 months ahead of schedule.
Shattered, but worth it to see my wife and kids more and not have the agg of a boss chasing.
You can do it if you structure your week right and look for a niche. For me its three story town houses as not many bods have wfp round here.
Thanks
Steve

Sounds great.
I used to canvass a lot and i would pick up on average 5 customers per night but i would stay out until i got those 5 customers. My canvasser picks up on average 3-4 customers in 2-3 hours but he has a different sales tactic to me which works for him and equally im pleased.
Good luck with the plan
