It wasn't the climbing of the gate that saw your dad arreated, it was the entering of the downstairs window that did it ;D

Wait until she finds that she can't get another w/c. Will you take her back?

I once had a custy who scolded me for climbing over her 4 foot rear gate. She was worried about her pet rabbit escaping!

I asked her if the rabbit was missing. It wasn't, but nevertheless I wasn't to do it again. I went one further I didn't go back.

Nowadays, I always ask what I should do if the custys are out. In most cases, they are fine with me climbing over. Any that aren't just get the fronts done.

John.

I do a lot of houses with electric gates and always let custy know when I'm round for access reasons,  some have given me the lock code and some have shown me where there are outside switches.

electric or not I never ever climb over.

just a quick question

if after you told the lady you climbed over and then she said well my gate is damaged now

what would you response be ?   cos that custy sounds like the type who would try something like that on

i climb if i cant unlock.    one bloke reckoned i had bent his cheap quality wrought iron gates by hurdling , but i know i never touched them as my ladder was against his wall.

so i dropped him even though he had always  paid ok  .
id risked my neck on his imprinted concrete driveaway with my ladders many times. fate decided i must let him go  and i believe in fate

go on Griff, make a vid of you doing that. im prepared to donate 20 quid to charity of your choice , 40 if you use a  carbon fibre with Aquadapter (minimum gate height 6foot) and it must be you,as verified by a local bigwig , no stand ins
