I recently bought a 22' CLX and am very impressed with it. Cost about £165 inclusive of superlight brush and VAT and light enough for using on ground, 1st and 2nd floor windows all day long. However it doesnt reach velux roof windows and some dormer windows that are set back. I use my 40' supermax poles for these.

Agree.
My MKI SLX25 has been used daily for 4 years & it's just ready now for replacement. Of course, replaced with another SLX. ;)

Will the 25' SLX reach velux windows? Will consider it for next time!
-
No you need a 35ft pole if the vlux windows are in the roof.
Simon.

this is the situation im in the velux cleans does stretch me to the limit and i have a few of these jobs. so a 35 ft pole will do this easy then. ant sites that do the slx cheaper then wcw

a 25ft slx will easily do velux on dormer bungalows & 1.5 story houses. I think it would be too short for velux on 2 story though.

i can reach with a normal semi velux just about. cant see them when poling though need the missus to direct me.as always.

would a goose neck help.

my elite 35 is a really good pole been using it for 4 wks now and loving it lightweight and rigid , on similar PAR to SLX if you search the previous comparision post and check out pics you will see there is not much difference in weight and rigidity and , you wont have to wait as long to get your hands on one ,
As there is usually a fair wait for the SLX

CHEERS ALEX ;)
I would read through Alex's back posts before you thank him. He has an agenda & doesn't really care whether you buy good pole or not- as long as it isn't a Gardiner pole. He also been proved on many occasions that he hasn't really a clue what he on with! ;D ;D

Winproclean have u used the elite ????
If not how do you know if the SLX is better or not???
As for anyone saying that the elite or SLX are expensive not long
Ago we were having to pay £500 for a decent carbon pole.
