Title: Slx with sill brush
Post by: david68 on June 04, 2011, 03:41:23 pm
Hi
Think about getting a slx 18 and slx 35  pole, but i like using a vikin sill brush om my poles,
I know the sill brush is heavy, and was wondering if it will damage the pole, especially when reaching the windows over conservatory roofs.

When going over conservatory roofs with the xtel pole & sill brush, i have had the crack down the tube and calapse like a tree being cut down.

Thanks Dave

I can't see it damaging the pole BUT you are handicapping yourself every day using that brush. I would try the white Xtreme brush, you'll bin your vikans immediately! ;)

When my superlite brush broke on my slx, I put an old sill brush on it as a temporary replacement... that was 3 months ago and I still haven't got round to getting another superlite brush!! To be honest I quite like the sill brush, yes it is heavy in comparison but you soon get used to it.. and of course the sill brush makes it easier to clean the sills!! and they are definately built to last!!!  :)

Thanks for the replies.
Ok its slx and sill brush, i know the brush weighs a lot, but i do like the sill brush and i have used the light brushes.

But at the moment i am using brodex alloy with sill brush, so i am use to weight

Apparently Gardiner's are soon bringing out a superlite sill brush soon.
