I would get someone to lock your sister up somewhere safe, and count your fingers and toes after drinking that.

Hi, I did it and it wasn't as nice as the tap water at 480ppm. So, its up to you. Do one batch of each but the pure water beer felt a bit dead next to the filthy tap water of biggleswade.

The Atalantic ships use RO to drink generated from a small turbine on the prop shaft they then add a bucket of "dirt" to make it taste and drinkeable 8)

so what your saying is if i run it through the pre fillters then RO not resin bottle thats should be OK.?
-
Me ? err yes I think so, thats what ROs were invented for, recycling astronauts water when in space, without it(space race technology) we would just be using tap water or recycled rain water. I have drunk gallons of the stuff :o Fish (Koi) also like it :)

Or try it for making water/ Vodka 8)

"Clean" and "Pure" are very different. We say "Pure" as shorthand for deionised (i.e. extemely soft) water.
I'm sure I've read that hard water is better for bitter than soft, so putting it through a RO could make it worse. However, there's only one way to find out.
