I want to waterproof the floor of my van, Protektacote(if that's spelling).
It also needs ply lining.
What do you think?  Should I ply line it, then waterproof the lining/or waterproof the base floor then ply line the side panels etc?

Some ply line the floor but if the water gets underneath it can't be ideal just lying there.
I painted the floor and about four inches up the sides and then ply lined the sides, and just give the floor a wipe every time there is a spill

Why would you need to ply line the floor?   Will you be dragging sharp things across it?    Well, either way, sharp objects will puncture through Protectakote.   The advantage to it is its a simple case of touch up!   We did the same as Davindo.   Did all the floor plus 3 to 4 inches up the side to stop water getting into the edges.

the seems in the corners are the main bit to worrk about, water gathers in them and eats away

That seems a little thick.  Oh well I'll take your advice ;D ;D ;D ;D
