Hi Ben i use a sebo duo on jobs were needed and its light n easy to store in the van.

cheers clinton
Always found brushing the hardest part of the job.
Must do a better job at getting the chems in and around aswell.
-
I use a TM4 crb machine a bit heavier than the sebo, but the price is a lot more too.
-
Agitation machines are alright but some places
are so small you couldn't use one properly.
Bedrooms especially and landings.
Always keep the carpet brush handy.

I use an Oreck Orbitor, though I do miss my Sebo Duo :'(
I also have a carpet rake, great for a work out ;)

Flexi 5, does a great job of dry vaccing and fantastic job with agitation, expensive tho :o

That will be my next big buy...

You can pick up used Envirodri machines for £500-£700. Good machines, got the weight to dig deep.
For upstairs I usually use a Oreck Orbiter, as it is lighter to carry upstairs.

Envirodri and sebo duo but still use the brush occasionly.
If you stick to domestic then a sebo duo should see you fine. If you plan of doing commercial or large areas then go for an Envirodri/Flexi or even a rotary.

Only ever had two crb’s duo sold for £50quid nice little machine but a pain to clean, would have gone for the Envirodri but a lot on negatives re-warranty (not built for the purpose ;)) due to this upgraded to TM4 X 3 via ebay (good luck :o), cant comment on the oreck orbiter as methinks my standard 13” rotary would do the same job :). The Flexi 5 looks the part and doubles up vac/aggregates at the same time, but then I’ve got a dart ???

I have a tm4 (one of the first Prochem sold) flexi5 and about half a dozen rotary machines that I use depending on the task.
SEBO is good but a little light weight. Does way more than a pile brush/rake tho.

There are a couple of host machine on ebay which are cheaper than a new duo
