Title: Fiat Doblo 05 plate 1900JTD
Post by: Dean Taberner on May 31, 2011, 05:23:23 pm
Hi Guys,

One of my vans have died and I've been offered the above van for 2k. Its done 130k and has a full service history and has just had the timing belt changed.

I know of a van of the same make and model and its still going strong at 245k miles.

Is it a bargain?

Dean.

14 months ago I bought an 07 (newer shape) doblo 1.3 TD multijet, mint with full history & 34k miles for £3200 no vat (private)

I have to say, this van has far exceeded all my expectations, it is superb!!

check the keys for wear and the back doors
if the hinges are sweet
the keys wear and you need the tumbler replaceing if a lot of movement
engines are great

I bought a ford courier 1.9 dti 57 plate two years ago. Imaculate condition.
It had done 63000 miles.

Price: £2000.

Great little van. Higher top than most vans of that size. Good pay load.

Would get one again but going to get a bigger van next time.

Worth a look at if you are not in a hurry to buy the fiat.
