Title: Woven carpet

 As still a relatively novice carpet cleaner, I'm having fears about cleaning woven carpets. I've been on a Prochem course , studied the manual, but I'm not 100% confident I'd spot a woven carpet (especially if I couldn't get to see the backing.  Any tips ?    Thanks.

I bought one of these to check the backing, makes it easy to pick up a discreet corner of a carpet if there are no off cuts available

Harry,

Go to a local carpet shop and ask for some samples and keep them in your van, you'll soon learn to recognise them.
