Hi all,
Just a quick question to any of you involved in this line of work. Is this a profitable enough business to run alone or is it more of an add on to an existing business? I've been looking into this a lot and have found that businesses seem to be providing this service alongside other things such as carpet / window cleaning.
Cheers, Craig

Driveways etc. tends to be fairly seasonal.
I'd say best as an add on but if you can spread out in to building exteriors and more commercial stuff then you could make it work. That said you'd be up against those already established in this field and winning contracts would be anything but easy.
If you were to try for commecial work then you'd need to have a completely stand alone hot water set up to have any chance. This is where it becomes a bit of a nonsense for a new set up as initial costs would be very high.
Go for it as an add on, see what you get, then in a few years you may have enough experience / contacts to step up a gear.
