I have a tank that has a fittting on that the RO would fill the tank through
It is a grey plastic male connector with a stop valve inside like the one in toilet cisterns, (that make sense)
I want to put a 1/2 inch hose from my di onto it as then it will cut off when full, i dont use an ro
Is there any way of doing this ? Do i need a special female fitting for it as ive been looking on the ro sites and cant find what im after

have you got a picture?

Here it is :)
any ideas

what fitting have you got on your DI vessell, that is a push fit fitting, cleaning spot sell john guest tubing and various push fit fitting that would allow you to rig somthing up

i just put a female hoselock onto my di, which has a male 1/2 inch hoselock
-
get the 4th one down in the link, and some 1/4 tubing and it will convert it to a hoselock fitting.

this one
Push-in fitting tube X tube 1/2"
Does that push into the bit on my tank then?
-
yes, but this is all you should need, much more simple

just unscrew the gray fitting on your tank and measure the thread to make sure its the same.
