Title: for tomcrowther re tesco advertising
Post by: richard roderisk on May 29, 2011, 09:39:57 am
i would ring up the company who sold you this ad and cancel mate, check your contract and see what cancellation period is... a lad i know sells this sort of advertising and he told me not to bother as it generally doesnt work..

think you could put money to better use, think these ads companies put cards in supermarkets diy stores etc.
and the guy i know who sells it said he never gets repeat business from advertisers!!! :-[

Thanks Richard, but it's one of those contracts that comes into force as soon as you sign it. I am doing another large run of leaflets as well, so not relying on the Tesco thing. It's a push to try and fill my round really as I have been taking it easy for a while after a period of good growth.

I thought there had to be a cooling off period on all contracts such as these.

Send them a recorded delivery cancellation letter.
