Hi all
Its that time of year again just had my renewal quote through and insurance has more than doubled wtf?
Now I know insurance has gone up but asking for a grand is a joke, currently with A plan I am looking for a new insurer for Van and system.
Anyone had a good deal latley if so who with?
Thanks.

im having the same problem, last year i was with alexander swan and it was £500, that was including the system, i have had their renewal through yet, but everyone else ive tried without a system is between 700-900 :-[

ok lee have rang Alexander Swan not too bad price, will try Swinton now...
Anymore Insurers anyone?
Cheers

What price did Alexander swan give you

Alright Lee
£538 with £300 Excess + £80 for System and Poles.
I Just Done a quote online through Compare the market come in at £338 with autonet didn't mention about system though or say what modifications - I guess wfp system is a mod though so if accident occured wonder if they insure you?

They would use it as a reason not to if you didnt declare it. There are only a few companies that will insure us with a fitted tank. Im moving house and the quotes that i am getting online with out the tank being mentioned are ridiculous, they range from 6-900, so when i tell them it will have a tank its going to shoot right up :-[

True that mate, I will see what others reply see which other insurers they use before making decision. ;)

Don't know if this helps but I've just insured my new van (Transit 55 plate with 650ltr tank) for £590 with extra named driver. Was worried because only just gone wfp and I didn't have any no claims to use but this company mirror imaged my no-claims which I had on my car and gave me an introductory 4 years. Their name is Commercial Vehicle Direct 01454 634536, low excess too ! First quote was £1300 then £1000, just shows you need to keep ringing around.

More Than Business or CVD are generally the cheapest that I have found

try stephen eyre at G.T.Insurance, he is very helpful, his number is 0115 9394747, we have started going to him now as helpful and competetive, all our insurances are with steve, hope that helps,

try swinton ;)
Swinton were ok but charged us £60 for a change of vehicle, about 1/3 of the premium! Not impressed as I've normally paid £0-£20.
