I don't think it would be suitable for this reason:

That's nearly 7 liters per minute.  I've read somewhere that for WFP you need about 1 liter per minute.

If the pump rate can be varied (which I suspect it can't as it doesn't specify that) then it could be suitable.

I'm no expert on the above, mind, so don't take my word for it.

This pump is adjustable. There is a small hex screw on the top, turn it and you can adjust the flow rate. No need for a varible pump controller. All shure flos are this way. The psi settings are set at the factpry but the flow rates are adjustable

Gaz, I've got a shurflo pump and wasn't going to use it as my current water carrying capacity is naff.

I assumed it would just pump out at full blast.

Thanks for the information.

I'll have a play with mine.

Cheers.

i looked into these in a BIG when last year, when i started looking at WFP stuff

they will work for a VAN mount, BUT when you work out the cost int he end, i still went for a Trolley system, it might have cost a few quid more, but it wasnt that much more, it was only the cost of a sack truc or Trolley and a pump unit

you still need Battery, RO unit, poles, brushes

I use the micro irrigation hose to run up the pole,it is connected with a 6mm pushfit connector and then to a standard hose connector, and i use a trigger off a numatic wet and dry carpet cleaner to activate the water,if i could upload any pics i would but it seems im not the only one whos having trouble doing that,Gaz.
