inside and out or just out?
-
Just outside
-
Roofs going to take you 2 hours easy, finials, guttering even more - are you pricing for the whole thing? or just the roof ?
-
I'd be looking for £200 at least without seeing how bad it is, and that would include sides too.
That's not a conservatory it's got the floor space of most average bungalows :o
-
Yep, agree with Neil.
Try to pick a cloudy day when you do it too!
-
Roof (incl finials)...approx £150...
Complete connie (incl upvc/inside gutters etc)...approx £250....
But i would have to have a good look at it first
-
£200 if not that green, £275 min if it was minging. Work would incude roof, finails, gutters (not debris clean)
-
Allow a day. Id put it in at £240.00.
TFR it first, rinse with tap water at full-bore. Rinse with R.O.
-
man, your all so dear!!! I would charge the following......
conny roof cleaned, gutters cleaned outside only, all windows on conservatory outside only for 150 quid prob take me 4 hours to do ;D

to busy to be cheap ;)

There are 42 panels on the sides alone. Must be another 20 on the ends. I would be going in at about £250 for the roof, gutters washed and the sides washed down. I think you would be lucky to be out of there in 4 hours if it is in any way green.
At some of the prices quoted I would be better off just doing windows and not doing any roofs. Its a reasonable specvialised job, not many have the kit for this kinda job and we shouldn't sell out services short.

£300.00,at least seven hours work
-
I'm with slash on that. Looks like a good days work to me
-
thanks for the help guys, its given me food for thought, i think i will give here a couple of options regarding the level of the clean.
She is a plymouth brethren, and in my experience they are tight and like to haggle, i get the impression she wont want to pay too much, so giving here a couple of different prices for different levels of work might help, plus if she only wants the panels cleaned and nothing else it will be fine by me, i hate cleaning roofs :o
-
250 quid and a itd be a day and a bit for me - with finials gutters cleaned out - roof cleaned and sides washed down - id imagine hard days graft and at 250 quid youd earn every penny and some.
as far as 2-4 hours just can see that at all unless theres 2 of you at it.
-
Lee, as i posted on CF - give me a bell about these mate... ive worked for PB for a year, so know how you can get the best price out of them
-
£200 id charge and take a leisurely day to clean it.
this price would include all windows, finials, outside gutters.the lot.
spray sections of the roof/finials with tfr in a pressure sprayer and wfp and a good rinse then start on the gutters and windows.
looks easy access.no ladders to climb.
i reckon 9am-4pm with an hour for breaks/lunch.
-
i dont think them pics do that conny any justice its very big id defo go for round 300quid mark nice job but get fed up in the end id imagine
-
Its amazing the diference in prices folk give for the same job.
The way i see conny cleans is price fair but dont undersell yourself. The people who own that conny must have spent tens of thousands having it built. If they are then not prepared to pay for its upkeep then more fool them.
They would not spend 30k on a new car and let it fall apart and not spend money on it, so why would something like this be different? when I price a conny I usually try to get that analagy into the conversation to make them think about the value of the building otherwise to them its just "part of the house"
I would charge a full days labour for that job to ensure they got a quality job done. (no I am not going to tell you what "a full days Labour" charge is ) ;)
-
i would say £250.00 but like dazmond says do the lot , if they are tight wads you need to make them feel like they are getting value you for money whatever you charge , so if and when you do the job if you think you might get it off in 4 hours just string it out a bit and have a extra long break so time spent at property is a bit longer
good point neil about getting them to think about value of conny will try and remember that one myself

we point this out on all our marketing material, and usually we get people contact us who are willing to pay well for the appropriate service. :)

The people have just moved onto the house, they rent it, and they quibbled over the price of the windows on the house, the wanted £3 knocked off.
Froggy, thanks mate will call you later.

Lee,
I wouldn't sweat it too much mate, by the sounds of things they are unlikely to be willing to pay anywhere near what you would want for doing the job!

havet looked thru the other posts but we would prob charge £250 ish for that size
