second day out using the extreme brush, and the inner bristles have started to stay splayed out and are now fouling the jets.
its been doing my head in today, so in the end i got some pliers and pulled out the offending bristle cluster.
was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. ???
still like the brush though ::)
-
Yep, happens to me but seems to "unfoul" itself aswell so not resorted to giving it a trim.
-
i found it did this on the black extreme but not the white extreme. what one have you got?
-
Its the white one, i'll go and take a pic
-
see where the jet is, then look down and to the right, this is where i removed the bristles that were covering the jet ??

I found the same but only when the water got really hot. They do seem to return to normal if left. I however got the scissors out and trimmed the offs ing bristles shorter.

something for the weekend sir ;D ;D
its not just me then, time for some more trimming then ???
-
I have to say though that in spit of the deforming bristles the rush cleans very well. In fact I think it cleans better than my old SL DT brush which incidentally has never deformed.

Ihave a concept 2 0 system with hot water and i am having the same problem one jet seems to get distorted by the bristles. However the brush still seems to work just as well and it is so light and less tiring with the carbon fibre goose neck, but it is a bit disconcerting
-
the bristles will distort with hot water when i poured hot water over my brush to fit hose over jets the bristles did move and soften,
-
I have the balck one and i have been using it for 3 days and it looks brand new still, surely it should`nt look like that after 2 days ???
-
same with mine on one side but the bristles tend to sort themselves out not really found it much of a prob .
OH MY GOODY GOODY GOSH WHAT A FANTASTIC BRUSH , i cant believe a brush that is so light is so dam good at scrubbing away dirt, scraper is a good thing i use plastic AD and manage with it fine it knocks the top off the hard caked on bird muck and the bristles and water do the rest , defo getting through work quicker
i have been smiling to myself all day because i now have the perfect combo Elite 35 and SL Extreme standard
-
I've got the white one, been using it for a week and not noticed this yet .
-
NOTICED WHAT, the bristle distortion or how good it is

Does anyone have the wide extreme? and what there thoughts on it?
