can anyone rate these
-
i wouldnt bother with them at the price.
just go with the standard metal ones that most use from screwfix, b&q ....
-
do like the look of the quick release on them but very pricey considering they are plastic
-
ive got the standard metal ones already im just not keen on them, i like to save time where i can and these look pretty quick to fit

totally see your point mate but the 'standard' ones are hardly a slow process to put on n off are they.
dont know where they were from but theres a set of quick release clamps made of metal and painted black - £70 odd tho!!
-
Try the Easi Load ladder rack. No clamps required except to lock ladders on van over night
-
I like the look of these. Thanks.

do you think thats the price for a pair? it doesnt seem clear and i wonder if you have to use a key everytime to open them-thatd be a drag
far as i know Rhino stuff is the best, well their roof bars are definitely

your welcome...i only use occasionally also...if you take into account the 2 paddlocks required for the standard type its not that far off in price
-
Now that's weird.
I was only thinking the other day why hasn't anyone designed a better clamp than the bog standard rusty screw thread and rusty padlock setup. Think they go for around £20 plus 2 x padlock around £10 = £30
If the ebay deal is for a pair (which I think it is ) then it's a no brainer.
I'm IN!!!!! :)
-
you have to be carefull not too over tighten them coz you will bend the bars plus sometimes they ping off,i use straps now,but these look nice but pricey.
-
THE EBAY ONES ARE ONLY ABOUT A TENNER MORE THAN THE SCREW THREAD TYPE
-
ive got a set of the quick release clamps, and even though im 99% wfp, im very impressed with the clamps on the odd occasion i use them.
at £35 incl delivery, i paid more ???, a very good time saving product, imo.
-
theres only 5 left...i think a few people from here bought one as quite a few sold last night
-
ive just bought some :)

ive just bought some :)
when you get them ,can you post up how they release ,if you must use a key each time etc . thanks
-
you dont have to use the key each time,
theres a red button you depress and lift the lever at the same time, and the lift off.
heres a pic

I ordered mine from the e-bay link. Theyve Just turned up, looks a very good bit of kit. I'm hoping far superior to the traditional breed of ladder clamps, Im pretty optimistic from the build quality theat they will live up to my hopes.
