Title: One of todays jobs *with pics*
Post by: Blue Frog Systems on May 21, 2011, 08:07:18 pm
Todays job was  a 4 bed detatched.... gutters cleared, fascias cleaned, windows cleaned & conny roof cleaned.

Was a transformation i must say ! There were some bits that you may see that the dirt has eaten into the plastic, but really a cracking job. My bro in law helped out on this one and it took about 2 & half hours. Oh an the finals on the conny were metal and the paint was flaking, so that lets it down a little

Enjoy ....

2 men on this one - 2 & half hours - though my bro in law disappeared for 40 mins to view a house

only chemicals used were VIRO-SOL which was diluted to a 1:23 + half a botttle of fairy

Chemicals were applyed with a converted brodex alloy pole / 5L garden sprayer

For the list to do as you first posted? You're cheap or perhaps it is a location thing :o

OR ... maybe your expensive and thats why we never see any of your work Helen ;)

However im happy with what i charged and how long it took. I earnt more than my average hourly earnings from window cleaning. Oh and customer wants this doing each year aswell as windows cleaned monthly.

I could knock 4 of these out a day on the same estate with 2 men. My Brother in law is new to this game, so not up to speed yet, plus i havent got a complete 2 man set up. Having a 2 man set up and my bro in law up to speed i reckon we could knock this out in 1hr 45mins

good price!i would of charged

£25-00 windows

£50-00  conny roof

£50-00 soffits/fascias

it would take me no more than 3 hours including setting up/packing away.i would of just used water.soaking first then a good scrub.in fact i reckon 2 and a half hours then off to my next job.

i might have sprayed the roof with tfr in a pressure sprayer but i wouldnt of bothered with doing the soffits.

i also would blade the ground floor windows after wfp seen as though its a first clean.

Come on then mark .... what makes you say that ? if your reffering to the gutter joints, the dirt has eaten into the plastic and the only way to sort this would be new joints all round. This property has been built 8 years ago and never cleaned (bar the conservatory roof by the looks of it.

Cheers Dazmond :)

wfp alone wouldnt have shifted it. I put virosol on it, left for 5 mins and went over it wfp... needed another dose of virosol on it was that bad, the dirt was really stuck on.

Soffits were part of the package and always are with me. No point having dirty soffits and clean fascias / gutters. There easy to do when you know how ;)

Customer was well impressed (collected last night).

frog, I just left a note on your a frame ladder post. will dive up the shed and measure the one I have, back in ten.

Ok wooden A frame ladder, wooden with ally rungs, old but sound, could probably use a coat of paint or similar. Its 8 foot with 8 rungs rubber top and feet.

I used it for a fey years until I got a new alloy double.

£20

pressure washing a Conny roof Daz?  I do the top part with a pressure washer after soaking it with viro. (Best way I think). But thats about it with a pressure washer.
