What is going on? Everyday this week I seem to be getting a new custy without trying. Two yesterday and two this morning. In fact I actually worked this am to get them all done.
I reckon it's my new flyer which I give to people when they ask - it has this sentence at the end:-
We are a professional, affordable, legitimate family business that wear maroon uniforms for easy identification - and we are extremely good looking and modest. (OK those last two might not be true but give us a call anyway!)

I've had 8 new ones this week and put a quote in for a £250 builders clean which I don't really want.
And I don't even wear a maroon uniform! ;)
I have noticed some of the houses this month are filthy, this long dry spell has caused "dirty rain" where I am so windows are dirtier than usual.

I've got to the point where when the phone rings and it isn't a request for service, I'm relieved...

We have picked up a lot of work in the last 3 months.
And it has come to my attention that a window cleaner that started the same time as myself, has not been since Christmas last year to his customers in one area. He had a vast amount of houses in one village and we have been getting 3 or 4 jobs a week from this village. So I'm going to leaflet it in the next few days.

Me as well!! This morning I priced up 8 massive houses on an exclusive private estate... Ive been trying to get some of these houses for over 7 years, and have been leafleting them several times a year without any success. But persistence has paid off, I had to provide them with references.. and they also wanted to phone some of my regular customers to check I was ok!!! Never had to do that before but it was worth it, as those 8 houses gives me an extra £7,500 a year!! some of them are 3monthly and some monthly!! 8)
