As things stand these two from what Ive read appear to be the two market leaders for removing mineral deposits on glass.

Are they the same chemical marketed under different names?

from the msds sheets or whatever the initials are, Both are made from acids although one is from food acids and one is biodegradable and the other just says the type of acids, but the basic ingredient would appear to be acid and nothing else, anyway I conclude that they are not the same but similar :D

Anyone tried these products on anything other than glass?

I keep getting a build of lime on my hot tub, (its like sandpaper) Not good on the bum  ;D

Its so hard to get rid of I end up scrubbing for hours
