what method did you use? powerburst in warm water, agitate with sebo, dwell for 10 minutes extract with f&f?
-
For your TM Gary you can buy clearwater rinse if you must or just use plain water to rinse. With a TM you will find no problems with ph after extraction.
-
yes gs ,agitated with brush,f&fab on tm blinding result

Powerburst is quite simply the best pre-spray on the market, in my opinion. It is effective across such a wide range of soil and does the job everytime. You must acid rinse though.

great stuff I put it down with my rotary then extract with nutrasoft if you flush with just water it dries white and hard but its great stuff used correctly
-
'It dries white and hard'?
I will excuse the obvious answer to that boys!
But how can a cleaning solution dry white and hard and not cause a problem on the items being cleaned?

As Simon said, acid rinse! Follow this advice and you won't need to worry about the why and what fors...! ;)

Dont get this?
-
Me neither. ???
-
"Don't get this" Hope the boys are having a giraffe ;)

If you are leaving a residue this is means it's not rinsed properly.
The solution to pollution is dilution. Rinse a carpet properly with plain old water and the ph on the carpet will be the same as the water from the tap.
-
if you rinse with F&F you only do it once. to rinse with just water takes to many passes and to long in time
-
At £8.99 for 3 rooms, correct ;D
-
i regularly rinse powerburst with plain water (dependant on carpet type) and have never witnessed any white hard residue, and it doesn't take me any longer to rinse than when using an acid rinse.
and just to be clear for the newbies out there, always use an acid rinse until you are confident in knowing when and when not to.

if you rinse your pre spray with water what do you clean the carpets with? water? could say something but will refrain lol :)
-
If you are leaving a residue you are using too much - much too much. Should be mixed a one scoop per litre, or less, depending on soiling.

Would Powerburst be any good on "proper" grease? By this I mean petrochemical rather than protein based.
I'm talking about large amounts of hydraulic oil (from plastic injection moulding machines) that has got walked across some low profile office carpets

glug of citra boost and it would, failing that, citra boost neat sprayed on while agitating at the same time opposite adjacent to each other. ;D
-
How much would I need for 75 Ms ? ;D
To be honest I gave up.
-
75 glugs!
