not even got started this week.still behind from doing my ankle in 6 weeks ago.been back at it for 3 weeks but weather been crap this last few days.gonna work tomorrow,friday and saturday weather permitting.
been at the hospital for the last few days.just found out my missus has got breast cancer. :( :(
not good at all.biopsy monday,deep biopsy tuesday MRI scan today and tomorrow.surgeon appointment friday.
tell ya what you cant put a price on your health can you?just hope shes gonna be alright.

sorry to hear that mate how is your lady mate. your health is more important then a few winey custies mate.

Sorry to hear that mate. I know a few who have had it and beat it in the last couple of years. The reaction and procedures seem much more improved than they used to be. Good luck.
ps. It sort of puts our ankles and shoulders in perspective.

thanks lads.yeh they dont mess about these days. she found a lump 2 weeks ago.biopsy monday and tuesday.found lumps in her lymph nodes under her arms as well.probably be having the surgery by the end of next week!!shes putting a brave face on but shes gutted really.at least their moving fast.
dont feel like working the rest of the week but i think itll take my mind off worrying about her.shes a tough cookie though and will fight it every step of the way.

Daz .... really bad news !! :( but sounds like they moving quickly ...
Mother in law few years back had same ... shes been clear for over 10 years now and medicine even better these days.
Of course its a lot to take in and shes gonna need ur help and support a lot but keep cleaning as u have to keep things on an even keel as much as u can ..... stay strong pal for the missus and urself

My mum had breast cancer 2yrs ago and (touch wood) she's doing great.

thanks again lads thanks for the support.gotta keep strong for her and keep ticking over.luckily theres a few other family members who ll help with the hospital trips as there s gonna be a lot of em over the next few weeks and months.

daz know how ya feeling pal my month has gone from bad to badder to worse to even worser yesterday had domestic with my girlfriend and shes keyed every panel of my courtesy car with fat tw*t all over it!!!!!!
reason being she thought she had caught me out on facebook cheating which in fact was banter between me n a femal friend!!!!!!!

Dude. My wife had a scare last month. But on a personal level.....luckily it was just a scare. It bought home the reality of cancer(enough to make me quit the fAgs) but in equal measure,it made me realise that it's something that can so often be overcome. Stay positive Daz. Thinking of you both. Dean ;-)

Gutted for you mate, keep strong for your missus and keep busy, i have 3 custys who have beaten the same cancer as well as my mother in law who has been clear for over 15 years and is as tough as ever (old boot!)
Keep strong mate she will really need you to get through this one.

friends of bill w have really helped tonight and thanks a lot for the support fellow shiners!acceptance is a big word in all areas of life but especially when something like this happens.gotta try and stay positive and hope they can treat it successfully.
