Title: Bournemouth business
Post by: outshine on October 05, 2005, 08:25:13 pm
Hi all,

Great forum... I am going start a round in Bournemouth, are any members working the area?

I am planning to go the traditional ladder route to start with, and will be charging a £10 minimum, with the hope of earning £30 per hour once I am up to speed. ;D

Is this realistic ?

Thanks ,

Outshine

You should do that easy.
Start in Queens Park and don't underprice.
When asked how much dont be afraid to quote a good price, but phrase it so theres obviously some negotiation:
IE "How does £20 sound?"
You may be surprised when they say OK but you are covered if they say "Too much" Then ask what they think and split the diff.

bournemouth i would thought is a good up and coming area (i'm from southampton)

so £25-£30 per hour is most realistic

it's most important to get your prices right 1st time around as you will find it harder to increase them if you get it wrong

GO FOR IT! AND GOOD LUCK
