Title: 22FT CLX,AQUA-DAPTOR,EXTREME BRUSH
Post by: dazmond on May 17, 2011, 11:22:09 am
does this combination for a run of the mill water fed pole get any better for small domestics? ;D ;D ;D

decided the aqua-daptor was making my 25ft SLX too long(closed length)and heavy at full extend so ive put a pole tap and SL DUAL TRIM FLOCKED on it.this pole will be used on large domestics, commercial and for reaching  very awkward windows above extensions/conservatories etc.

the CLX seems a great pole now with aqua-daptor fitted and extreme brush.still a good closed length.no loop of hose on the end and pretty light even fully extended.this pole will now become a regular used pole again for small domestics.

i suppose a SLX 22FT SLX would be the ideal regular pole with aqua-daptor and extreme brush fitted but the clx will suffice for now.

in hindsight maybe i should of just stuck to my original idea of buying the 22ft SLX and using my 25ft HYDRA for the larger jobs.the hydra seems like a big heavy monster of a pole now though and the strain on the arms and shoulders might not be worth it!! ;D ;D ;D

I seem to remember recommending that 22slx setup to you daz but that's by the by  ;D. I started with a 27clx with an AD, and found the closed length too long and it's shorter than a 25 slx, but I now use a 22slx with an AD and xtreme brush and I find it a great setup, the ad may add weight but the xtreme brush compensates for that, and if you rinse on the glass then the AD really doesn't make too mush difference.

I find the 22 slx does 99.9% of my work, awkward windows and 3rd story, I only get my Clx 27 out a couple of times a month.

Maybe sell your 25 slx and buy the 22, as I think the AD benefits out weigh the extra weight it adds to the pole.

Maybe you guys should go to gym to beef up ;D i eat 215 grams for breakfast and snort it in 2 weeks ;D so how can aqua dapter be heavy, just have a dump in morning and you will be a couple pound lighter and less to carry.

It's to do with levers.  215 grams isn't heavy in your hand, but stick 215 grams on the end of a pole and hold the pole pointing away from your body at an angle; it'll feel a lot heavier; the longer the pole, the heavier it'll feel.

My set up exactly, works a treat. Surprised people arent too embarrassed to say aquadaptors too heavy lol. after luggin 3rd/4th storey ladders around for 10 years the aquadaptor weight seems like a joke to me.

Time to man up boys, ul be getting a lighter mouse for your pc next!!
