restormate are doing a good deal on bonnets at the moment.....
-
Thanks for the reply dude!

Ok so i have found some bonnets, does a machine like this have some kind of backing plate where the bonnets attach on to? the machine was supplied with a yellow scrubbing brush, looks like you would use this on a hard floor.
I require some expert advise please:
I need a carpet brush for scrubbing / agitating
and also bonnets for shampooing and bonnet buffing with a pre spray.
Recommendations ;D?
-
What make of machine?
What model?
What rpm?
-
I have some pics i have attached but apart from that there is no markings on the unit at all
-
No piccys on my browser.
Turn the machine on its back and mark the brush with a piece of sticky tape and count the revs as is runs. If you cannot count them then its too fast.
Should be 180-200 MAX, preferably 150 RPM

the yellow scrub base is a bonnet holder, it looks like a brush with 3/4inch bristles but they are to grip the bonnet

Hi Mike
Yer that's exactly what it looks like, so what would i do if i were to add a carpet agitation brush? can you recommend good bonnet for shampooing (dip and wring out) and one for bonnet buffing?
thanks
-
I Like the dry fusion bonnets but can't say about shampooing carpets with a dip & wring method... do people still shampoo like that?
if you want a brush you need to find out the manufacturer but I have'nt agitated with a brush for years ( because i don't have one) I use a bonnet it does just as good a job

Thanks Mike
Where do you shop for your dry fusion bonnets?
-
Wow a Truvox Orbis with a sprayer.
Didnt know such a thing existed.
Obviously a special build / modification.
Any idea who did it?
-
Thats been modified for some sort of contract job i guess somewere down the line..

Since the demise of the Chemspec Rotobrite we have been looking at this option.
We prefer to always use dry bonnets rather than wring them as they work far better (imo)
I hadnt considered doing it to an Orbis tho.
I am off to speak to Truvox............
-
Not a Truvox build anyway according to them.
The spray assembly is from a Chemspec Rotobrite so looks like it may have been knocked up in someones garage.
For some reason when I click the link for the first image I get taken back to the login screen.

Just spoke to World of clean, this is a Truvox Orbis 43 (17"), they have modified this model and have fitted a pump and spray system.
I am in the market for a second hand DRIVE PLATE
and a SHAMPOO CARPET BRUSH
Anyone have these items wanna sell?
Cheers

The product we use is the Surround Ultra encap product bought from restormate.
