Hi Guys,apart from the die hards ;)...do most of you guys work in a good drizzle r when do u call a day? im a bit soft & dont want to get them funny eyebrow looks from custy's ::)

i do work in all weathers when i want to get some work finished!
thunder/lightening,torrential downpours,snow,ice,wet and windy!!ive worked in all of them at some point over the years!! ;D ;D ;D
in general i dont work if its bouncing down only light rain/medium rain or showers.if its wet and windy then i only clean commercial rather than domestics although i have if its just one or two houses to finish off an area.
IMO you have to work in some form of bad weather at some point if you have a fullish round or you simply wont make enough money!!
i remember around 6-7 years ago its rained practically every day for 6 weeks during the summer holidays.what are you supposed to do?have 6 weeks off? ;D ;D ;D ;D
i find with wfp it seems more acceptable to work in the rain as it doesnt really affect the quality of the clean.

It's throwing it down here. We are on time with work, no problems in the near future on the radar, so staying home and getting paperwork done.
I'll work in light rain and showers, but only if I need to. We have some small commercial jobs, shop fronts, office buildings etc. Weather isn't an issue with work like that.
Apart from all that, I hate getting wet while working.

Vertical rain, I clean.
Light/medium wind, I clean.
Windy and raining, no.
Strong wind, no.
Cold (or what passes for cold on the South coast) doesn't stop me.

cos im having the day off!! ;D ;D ;D
had a hectic weekend with family commitments and my ankles a bit sore this morning(ligaments still not healed properly).
got a few things going on with girlfriend having tests this afternoon and family/friends over from new york this evening so im taking it easy!!
still got work ive not cleaned since march so ill be bang at it the rest of the week!
great to be able to say to yourself "ill give it a miss today!" :D :D

i think people feel more sorry for us out in it than upset your doing theirs in the rain
most people understand i think u have to make a living ?? i suppose there will always be a few who think they are been cheated........has anyone lost custy due to doing theirs in the rain ??

last two years worked in nearly every kind of weather living in scotland west coast it rains a lot
if i stayed at home when the weather was bad ,i wouldnt be even be part time.and so far i have not lost any work because of the weather :)

I NEVER work in pea soup, when theres fog on the tyne AND ESPECIALLY when it rains cats and dogs i find it clogs up my brush with furr.

I think I am like the majority. I work in light to medium rain but if it's hammering down or high winds I call it a day.
What makes me laugh is on the really hot, sunny days almost everyone you meet say's "great day for you isn't it" or something similar when it really isn't. Far too hot, sweating your txts off etc. Much better on a mild, cloudy day.
