Post by: Roberto52 on May 16, 2011, 08:57:41 am
Hi
Has anybody applied du point teflon to an Indian 100% silk carpet?     dont know what sort of reaction it may have ?

Brand new carpet just being fitted and wants it protected.

Most solvent based carpet protectors will be fine, always test an area first!!!!!!!!!!!

Silk is inert, isn't it?

If it is then it wont huge benefit putting it on.

I would query what they expect from protection, it may be unrealistic!

If I had to ask this question, for on a £170k carpet I would get someone to do it who knows what they are doing and take a percentage.
