What ever i try & set out 2do, for some reason or another i always end up back where
i left off.......... WINDOW CLEANING ::)
Just wanted to know if any of you guys have done the same????
-
yes pretty much, my dad was a window cleaner so when I was looking for pocket money as teenager he handed me a ladder and a list of addresses, I worked for him off and on until I joined the army at 21, even when in the army I worked for him when on leave, and 15 years later I trained as a tiler but took on some window cleaning to keep me going while I built the tiling business, but I ended up doing very little tiling and lots of window cleaning ;D
I do have HGV class 1, loads of certificates in management and various IT qualifications, but window cleaning is just easier on the whole

Yep started window cleaning when I left skool :o..got married at 20, then was a van driver, suspended ceiling/partitioning fitter, foundry work, retrained as a plumber, then back to window cleaning in 2007 (although Ive always kept my hand in over the years ;))...
Never would of packed it in if wfp was about in 1984 ;D

LOL @ MLS.
I don't love this game. I like the money and free time. I'd rather be truck driving, that's in my blood, but I'm starting to think that at my age and the current economic climate, I'd btter stick with it now. Mostly, it's a good business to be in.

I think once you get used to the money and lifestyle the window cleaning gives you, other jobs just do not compare. I have left and come back three times, and only now have I really taken it seriously and given it 100 %.

Wouldnt say it ws in the blood as I prefer the windows in front of me than in your blood ;D ;D
Great job to do, can be recession proof to a certain point and healthy life style, and also meeting all kinds of characters etc ;D ;D ;D
