Hmm. See http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=123598.msg1067062#msg1067062 to see how impartial the advice has been so far.

TAXI FOR CRYSTAL?

These guys should have a banner or different colour user name to show they are suppliers. It's crap that they can offer 'impartial advise' when its anything but.

Honesty is the best policy!

I find it funny when guys come asking, "What pole should I get..." and the choice quickly gets whittled down between an SLX or a CLX.
That makes me smile.
Anyway, with regards pole hose and reels, since they're an item that you use almost all of the time, it's probably important that you don't sacrifice quality for cost.
I recommend Gardiner's reels; these ones:

I use the premium metal freestanding one, and it's very easy to use.

they sem good price do they like to topple over like the other heavy duty reels

Yeh, I've toppled mine over a few times. I'd nail it to a bit of ply wood, to give it a more secure base, but I'm short of space in the back of the van 'cos I've another hose reel and pumps in the way!

the one that have the wheels are better as i take mine out for every job, but the wheels always fell off. these ones much steady tho minus the wheels.
i thought id buy the ones without the wheels to save money but the topple all the time

Secure it to a 'square' of plywood. That stops the 'toppling'!

Looks very good.
Can you tell me how tall it is?
