Title: Filling your DI cannister with resin, simples
Post by: LWC on May 14, 2011, 06:16:35 pm
Changed resin today as ive been going out with 020 oops! No complaints tho??? I think the 000 is a myth, ive been looking at windows and theyve been mint. But changed it anyway.

So heres a quick way to fill your cannister, i tried the cup method took ages, this is much simpler. You can be a bit more careful than me, i was trying to hold camera and bucket lol

Just top up with more water and repeat etc.  ;)

What about the tube down the middle Matt? Does'nt that have to go all the way to the bottom?

What on the lid? It goes in much easier with water in there.

looked at the vid he has spilt most of the resin on the floor wat a waste. use a 2 lte plastic bottle and cut the top off and scoop and pour dry resin. cup you hands over top of vessel so you dont loose much stuff slow process but good for the long run.

HE has a name and its Matt, or Sensai to you  :P Like i said in paragraph, i was trying to hold camera and bucket and no i didnt spill most of it on the floor, it all went in cannister.

Do it your way and be there for donkeys, do it my way, done and dusted, 1 min. Easy

I have used an old lampshade for years. works perfectly, I do add water before putting the tube back in, it makes things a lot easier.
