I,ve only used it for 3 days, here are the +'s & -'s
-'s
1 Weight, a noticeable difference on my SLX, part of that is probably using the microbore as pole hose.
2 Seems flimsy, time will tell
3 Takes some getting used to. After a while the pulling action gets easier, once again this could be because i'm pulling on microbore.
4 Closed length, now a bit more awkward on downstairs windows
5 Slower extending pole, rectus fitting catching on butt cap as microbore goes up pole.
6 Expensive, but the developement must have been expensive
+'s
1 No loop of pole hose
2 Not tethered to pole at holster on belt
3 No wet legs
4 Apparently the customer service is excellent
5 I think it will speed me up even more
Overall i would say that if it lasts i will keep it on my slx, but i've bought an extreme brush to lower the weight.
I can see why it's won awards and so far i think that the plusses make up for any niggles.
btw thanks to Tosh for putting me onto the flipfast, i,ve ordered three.

i did the cheapo option and bought 2 quick release clamps from the bike bizzle on ebay altough they only sent one :'( £2.50 each work brilliant

5 Slower extending pole, rectus fitting catching on butt cap as microbore goes up pole. thats not the fault of the aqua dapter, i use this method and its not long before you get the hang of it.

NOW PAY ATTENTION ITS VERY COMPLICATED ;D you simply take the bolt and wheel bit off the angle adapter and replace with the quick release clamp which is a bolt with a nut one end and the cllamp the other, you just turn the nut to get the right tension for the quick clamp to lock and unlock. 2 minute job. if you already have the angle adapter you save quite a bit.
-
Whats that got to do with the Aquadapter???
-
Nothing at all......but it's the weekend. So who cares
-
did tell u jbw not to bother
seems im right ;D ;D
-
I didn't have a clue how to adapt it but it took me about a minute to figure it out and I'm a thicko. But like tosh said....it's surprisingly good

yes i think some have got their wires crossed !!!
Had the Ad for over a year now - cant fault it, but you would be better using their pole hole and pulling that rather
than the microbore.
as Lee pointed out - you cant blame the AD for your hose catching inside the pole.
Lee - been using Ariel Brush this week - ;D ;D ;D

Clearly I'm missing something here but how is this easier / better / more convenient than a trigger?
-
i used to have a trigger about 6 yrs ago but it broke and i didnt replace it. do you get cramps/ pains holding the trigger all day? i wouldnt want one again i just use a in line tap.

You can hold the pole where you want, so you dont have to keep your hand constantly on the trigger, no pole hose loop to get in the way and catch on things, alot easier to clean awkward windows, pull the hose, water on, pull the hose water off.
far better than a trigger. ;)

Cleancare. I got a message in my eBay inbox. He's apologised and says he'll post another one tomorrow. Here's hoping :-)

No not really. I'm 42 and did trad for 15 years until my joints got so bad I considered giving up. Been on WFP for 6 years and has eliminated all joint and back problems, probably fitter now then I was at 22, though carrying my kids about probably contributes to this. I see the idea of the Aquadapter and think it's very clever, just don't see if it's worth the extra over a trigger. Used an inline tap before but nothing like as instant as the trigger. Mind you I avoided triggers until this year and am now very impressed. Major advantage I see with the trigger is that with rural 4 weekly work that doesn't get a very nasty build up of dirt it's only necessary to have the water on for the top half of the window. So wash top half, release trigger, scrub lower half with existing water overrun then rinse all. No mess left on window and water consumption down by about 50%. Don't know how easy that would be with Aquadapter. Using well water at 70 TDS, so no RO anymore and Bag of resin lasts 3 months, £20 ish month. Cheapest triggers, £22 from Cleaning Spot. I'm Sold.
