Title: What do you use to clean pvc?
Post by: Terry A on May 12, 2011, 10:15:11 pm
I've had a few enquiries lately for pvc cleaning.
What gives the best results and where do I get it?

Thanks

Terry.

I use TFR for general cleaning and upvc cream for restoration.

i just use water unless the plastics really bad.soak with water and then scrub and rinse.job done.saves time faffing about with chemicals.i usually use tap water.

if its a green fascia or conny roof thats very bad then i spray non-caustic tfr using a 5L pressure sprayer.leave for 5 mins then scrub and rinse until clean.

i am a trolley user and have a spare container which i use for gutter and conny cleans , i add some tfr into water and clean them with spare brush fitted only takes 2 mins to flush out with fresh water after tfr use
