Title: what is the best length of pole hose to have ?

just waiting for my delivery from purefreedom im fitting a tap to my pole but wondered when your pole is fully extended how much pole hose do you have left coming out of the bottom of the pole 1meter , 3meters , 5meters or more  ???

We have about 5m left on our poles; quite handy if the main hose doesn't quite reach the furthest window ;D
